Jo’s Update

I’m happy to say the diapers are done!  The eight that I’ve been working on this week are the last from a batch of twenty-two that I’ve been working on for about ten days.  There’s a certain satisfaction to be had making diapers – saving the planet, yeah, saving money, yeah… but I’m ready to work on something that won’t get pooped on.  As much.

I didn’t get as much done tonight due to cranky sick babies, but I did get one diaper cover cut out and stitched to test my pattern.  Photos are on our flickr page. If this one fits, I have some cute print fabrics I’ll use for the rest.

Tomorrow I’m hoping to take a break from diapers – maybe a cute skirt or two?  Some leggings?  We’ll see.

Wendy’s Update

As committed as I am to the challenge, I ended up taking tonight off although I’d hoped to be able to fit in an hour after I returned home from the Pixies show. Unfortunately, the late hour and the pile of dishes waiting for me in the sink conspired against me, though I’m determined to make up for lost time on Thursday.
