Making Bread by Hand
My first forays into homemade bread were unequivocal failures. I was using a bread machine and somehow doing everything wrong in spite of my best efforts. Eventually, after many a barely-edible disaster, I found success and we ate like kings. Everything was wonderful and rainbow-flavored until the nonstick pan of my bread machine began to flake.
